Practice Field Schedule
The practice field schedule has been posted by coach's last name and by practice field. The official field schedule is held and administered by the Coaching Coordinator. All changes to the field schedule must be approved by the Coaching Coordinator.
Coaches Must Obtain ‘F’ License Prior to their 2nd Year as a Coach
For 2011 EGYSL has elected to require that all head coaches obtain their ‘F’ License prior to their 2nd season as a head coach. This is a requirement, so don’t put it off. The clinics are free, and it’s a great idea to take the course with your assistants. The clinic includes a one day session where you will learn a ton of new drills that will increase your efficiency in practice and improve your player’s ball handling skills. More information on coaching clinics, including clinic dates, can be found on Elk Grove Youth Soccer League's website (http://www.elkgrove-soccer.com/coaching/).
Please follow the steps below to register and confirm completion of the coaching clinic.
Email the West Lake Coaching Coordinator, Monty Casey (montycasey@gmail.com) the scheduled date and the confirmation at the completion of the course.
Coach Registration Form (Form 1628)
The Coach Registration Form (Form 1628) is required for coaches, including assistant coaches. The form must be submitted before being registered as a coach or assistant coach. Hand in the completed form to the West Lake Registrar, Derrick Morisawa (wlsoccerreg@surewest.net).

We are encouraging our coaches to enroll in a referee’s course with EGYSL. This is a great way to learn the rules and a chance to get to know the guys that may be calling some of your games. Schedule will be coming out soon, and will be posted at the West Lake Home Page.
